Delete your OriginalCaveman Companion account

For the OriginalCaveman Companion app on Android and iPhone, run by Redec Industrial Ltd, trading as OriginalCaveman (company number 05394419, registered office 1 Easter Industrial Park, Ferry Lane South, Rainham, Essex RM13 9BP).

Delete it in the app (fastest)

1. Open the app and go to Account.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Delete it without the app

Email sales@redecindustrial.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We'll check it's you, delete your account within 30 days, and email to confirm. Then delete the app from your phone to remove anything stored on it.

What's deleted

• Your account and profile, including Embers, level and rewards history.
• Your Group posts and their photos and videos, the fires you gave, your poll answers (in the Group and Pit Chat) and your emoji reactions.
• Your messages with the team, your notifications, your Butcher's Block setting, your saved posts, any Cook Desk cooks waiting to go to your phone, and your sign-ins and notification tokens.
• Cook Notes on your phone for your account, when you delete in the app.

What's kept, and for how long

• Comments and Pit Chat messages that other people replied to stay, so conversations still make sense, but show as "Former member" with any photo removed.
• Past orders, as guest orders, for as long as tax law requires (usually 6 years).
• Moderation records, for 12 months.
• If you won the Race of the Year, your username in the list of past winners.
