Every OriginalCaveman kamado comes with a full 2-year warranty as standard. No upsell, no conditions, no fine print. This is the baseline — and it already beats most of the industry.
What’s Not Covered
The 2-year warranty covers structural failures and material breakdowns under normal domestic use. It does not cover misuse, accidents, or wear over time.
- Accidental damage — drops, impacts, or physical misuse
- Damage from using the kamado in ways it wasn’t designed for
- Damage from improper assembly, installation, or maintenance
- Damage caused by natural events — flooding, storm damage, external fire
- Unauthorised modifications or use of non-approved attachments
- Normal cosmetic wear — surface marks, heat discolouration, minor chipping from normal use
- Wear and tear after year 2 on consumable components (gaskets, grates)
- Commercial use — this warranty covers domestic use only

What the Lifetime Ceramic
Warranty Doesn’t Cover
Upfront, not buried in the small print. The warranty covers structural failures and material breakdowns under normal domestic use.
Cosmetic wear & expected ageing that doesn’t affect performance
- Surface reaction or tarnishing on metal parts
- Heat tarnishing or discolouration on ceramic or metal surfaces
- Hairline cracks in ceramic that don’t affect structural integrity or cooking performance
- Paint chips or surface scratches that don’t affect performance
- Cosmetic wear from prolonged use or heavy cookware
- Cracks caused by thermal shock or failure to follow care instructions provided
General exclusions
- Fair wear and tear — normal ageing of consumable components over time
- Accidental damage, drops, physical impacts, or incidental loss
- Use of caustic or inappropriate cleaning products on any component
- Damage from improper assembly, installation, or maintenance
- Modifications by you or a third party, including use of non-approved parts
- Damage caused by natural events — flooding, storm damage, external fire
- Commercial use unless registered with us at the time of purchase
- Metal parts, gaskets, and consumables after year 2 — spare parts always available after that
- Second owners — covers original purchaser only. New owners can always buy spare parts direct from us
